We learned how to have this Baby!

Today we went to a Childbirth Education class at the Hospital where we'll be having the little guy! What a long Saturday: 9 am - 4pm!

I'm glad we went, but much of it was covered in pregnancy books we're reading. They covered the different phases of labor, when to head to the hospital, what to expect at the hospital, some breathing & massage techniques, caring for a newborn and a tour of the hospital. Oh, and we watched some videos from the 1970's - thankfully none were too graphic!

The massage was the best part! Eric had to practice some techniques...then the mothers to be returned the favor!

The hospital tour was also beneficial. We got to see where to check in, the 3 different rooms that we'll be in (pre-delivery, delivery, then the hospital room). The rooms had lots of space and amenities and are all private (thank goodness!). We also got to see some teeny tiny babies in the nursery and picture our little one!

Wait just a minute..... I haven't checked in for a few weeks, but I see that there might have been a shower in Raleigh and some of us might not have been invited.... hello!!! Don't forget your fellow NCSU alums!

Hope everyone is well... we are keeping up with you all and are getting excited about meeting your little man.
