The Bedding Arrived!

Yip, yip, yippeee! And it arrived on my Birthday...what a great surprise!

In our class last week at the hospital we had to share the best/worst part of the pregnancy for each of us....Eric was too funny, when he responded that the worst part has been reassuring me that the baby's bedding will be here and the nursery will be ready before the Baby comes.

Long story...we found the bedding at a local Baby store. Before we made the order, we found the same set a bit cheaper online and it had free shipping with the same time frame 2-4 weeks. So, we ordered it online. After 5 weeks of waiting, Eric started calling each week to check on the status. They told us they were waiting on one more piece & that it would ship next week. Still...nothing. So, last week same story. I decided to call the manufacturer directly to see if they were having issues with this set, or if it was just on backorder to see when it would clear and that we would get the bedding. Oh, they don't even have these items on backorder & had nothing in queue to ship to any of their retailers. I kindly asked what they recommended we do...they said, cancel your order & here are two places that will ship it to you same day. So, we cancelled the first order and reordered the bedding last Thursday....then, it arrived on Monday.

We'll take pictures this weekend - & for those of you coming to the shower, you'll get to see it! Yay!

Hopefully, we can figure out a way to get them posted to the blog...our computer is currently not working...
