I've watched this mysterious disease effect my Mom over the past 18+ years and will support anyone who is funding research to not only find the cure, but to understand the causes.
Mom - you are an inspiration to so many people, especially me! I love you!
Robbie - I'm so moved that you are doing something so special for Mom & others that fight this horrible disease!

An email from Robbie:
Hello all,
Just a quick update to let you know that I reached my original donation goal of $1,200 Monday. I am still overwhelmed and impressed by the generosity of those that have donated. Many thanks again to you that have!
Since I've met the $1,200 goal,I've set a new goal of $2,000, and I have now doubt that I can hit that goal and even surpass it. To make it more personal for all of us, I have added a picture of Sharon, the lady I'm riding for, to my ride site. She has a young grandson and another on the way, and your donations could directly affect the quality of the relationship those 2 little boys have with their Grandma. I've known her for 30 years now, and you can trust me when I say she's worth it.
I'm training hard, and sweating buckets, in order to enjoy this ride instead of suffering through it. I added a picture to my ride site of me training on the deck on my Kurt Kinetic fluid trainer. The view out there is great, and it makes a great place to train as well.
I hope all of you are having a great week thus far and are looking forward to a superb weekend.
Take care and stay safe.
Your friend, co-worker, family member, or whatever,
Rob
