Update#2 from Robbie:
A message from Robert Farthing rkfarthing@cox.net.
Hello everyone! Here it is just a little over 2 weeks from when I sent my first e-mail, and I am just short of $2,000 in dontions. Due to the fact that so mouch was donated in such a short period of time, I've upped my goal to $2,500. As I said before, I sincerely appreciate the generosity of everyone that has donated. For those that haven't donated, there is still plenty of time if you choose to donate, just click on the link below to get to my ride site, and you can make an on-line donation from there.
I encourage everyone to forward this e-mail to as many people as you choose in an effort to raise as much money as possible for MS. I don't know if everyone has seen the picture of Sharon that I recently added to my ride page. Sharon is a long-time frined of my family, and mom's 2nd opr 3rd cousin I believe, and has been fighting MS for probably 20 years now. I'm doing this ride in honor of her and all she's been through. The ride became a lot more meaningful for me when I associated her with the ride.
I've maintained my training routine, and am training +/- 90 minutes each time I train. Since I'm using my Fluid Trainer, it's equivalent to 2 - 2 1/2 hours on the road. I'll be in good riding shape by the time the ride happens, and I/m looking forward to having a great time out on the road.
If anyone prefers writing a check over electronic donation, my address is: 220 Washington St., Hampton, VA 23669.
Cheers and ALoha to all. I wish you all a superb weekend once quittin' time arrives for you Friday.
Rob Farthing
