We travelled to Raleigh the day after Christmas to visit with Amber & Eric. We ate some pizza and spent time catching up, then played some Wii games! The next morning, I woke up bright & early (you know me) and took a pregnancy test. It was about 6 am, so after taking the test I wandered back into the bedroom because I thought it was a positive sign, but needed to read the instructions again. After much analyzing, Eric and I decided that it was indeed positive and that we were having a baby! A couple of hours later Amber came in and sat on the bed with me. She was offering me coffee...all I could think was..."I can't drink coffee". So, I told Amber that I just took a pregnancy test and that it was POSITIVE! We celebrated and screamed and cried...all of those girly emotions! We went out to brunch, then off to Barnes and Noble to buy "What to Expect when You're Expecting".
We drove to Dunn to visit my parents to celebrate the Hundley Christmas for the next few days. I couldn't wait to tell my Mom. Eric ran to the store, so it was time for me to tell Mom. I just blurted out, "Mom, I had a positive pregnancy test this morning". We were both in shock, then hugged and cried! It was so much fun to tell the family.
This was the beginning of Baby Sanders venture into our lives!
