valentine's day marked G's half birthday!
these past 6 months my little boy has changed so much...he's gone from looking, talking, thinking, & acting like a toddler to being a little boy...
+is super independent loves to do everything by himself - however, pronouns are very confusing in the English language, so one of Eric & I's favorite phrases of G's is "you can do it by YO self" which means mommy/daddy back-up, "I can do it by myself". Another favorite, if he finds something he's been looking for, he says "You found YO _____ ! "(fill in the blank)
+was 36.5 inches / 32 lbs - now hovering around 60% percent for both height & weight...however, that noggin is still up in the 90's
+still loves all things monkey - green eee eee, henry, pink eee eee, bernie, chester and now Maxx are all part of the family.
+jumps everywhere
+favorite shows: Go Diego Go, Dora, Little Einsteins (aka "Rocket") & Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
+favorite books: 101 Dalmations, Elephant & Piggie - there's a bird on your head, Pete the Cat, We're Going on a Bear Hunt. I could go on & on...these are the picks of the last 2 weeks :) this boy just LOVES books :)
+Loves baked goods - scones, bagels, "Monkey muffins", cookies, breads - muffins will always be monkey muffins to him, since we have lots of muffin papers that are deco'd w/ monkeys...& thanks to gaga for lots of yummy monkey muffins, cookies & other baked goods ;)
+likes to tell us stories & he remembers things that happened forever ago, so he'll say "you did that with Daddy one day" or "you did that sometime". Once we probe for more details, we will finally remember what he is talking about.
+loves school, talking about his new friends there & always receives a good report from his teacher
+i'm sure there is lots i'm forgetting....so, i'll try to update as i remember more :)
This picture was taken on "hat" day at school...our little train conducter....however, he thought it looked more like "boots" from Dora & kept saying "you look like boots, you look like boots" (remember you = i in his lingo)
