Graham is really trying to communicate with us! We just love hearing words come out of his mouth...it is just the sweetest sounds :)
"Uh-oh" - this is currently his FAVORITE word...he says it anytime he drops something...however, he usually says it seconds BEFORE he "accidentally" drops something!
"Dadda" - we will call this Graham's first word. He's been saying it for a long, long time and has connected it to Dadda for quite a while now. It is super sweet the way he says it when he's trying to get Eric's attention.
"Dog" - this usually comes out "DOH" like Homer Simpson! Sometimes he drags it out a bit and it sounds like "Dawg" - think he'll catch a southern accent??? We'll venture to say this was his 2nd word.
"Momma" - comes out from time to time...mostly when he's whining or sad...or when he's pulling on my leg and wants up.
Words that he's trying to say, but sound nothing like the real thing
-Up (we're pushing for this one...vs. the whining while pulling on our legs)..it kinda sounds like down when he says it...
-Down
-Banana
-Nana
-PaPa
-Grandma / Grandpa (graham says lots of "words" with hard "G" sounds, but can't quite make out which one is grandma/grandpa)
-Cookie/Cracker - a very slobbery word that sounds kinda like "cook" with not much emphasis on the "oo"

Yay! I love that he's starting to talk! Can't wait to hear it. I'll have to teach him to say "Stompy." :)
hey .. even when they say up, they will still. "they" means audrey in my case! hee hee. it's still pretty cute once it changes to "up, up, up, up UP UP UP UP!!!!" if you don't move fast enough. again, that's just audrey!
